Speculation continues to swirl about Barnes & Noble’s long-term commitment to the NOOK platform and whether the company can remain a viable competitor to Amazon and Kobo (especially in overseas markets in the case of the latter). Notwithstanding this, it makes sense for indie-authors to list their books in as many ebookstores as possible, including the venerable U.S.-based retailer.
